PICS!
Most recent at top. Go to earliest pics
With thanks to Colin for some of his pics.

LAMMAS FIRE
AUGUST 1
On Lammas day itself a huge workday suddenly transformed the activity rooms from junk, painting equipment, tools, heaped piles of furniture - to clear empty mopped out spaces. We held a happy Lammas celebration in the evening, including a Lammas bonfire in the garden for much of the rubbish.
DANCE ROOM
The Dance Room was finally all painted, and the floor cleared ready for the new oak floor to go down.
HOT TUB
Colin and Steve are particularly interested in getting the hot tub going in the back courtyard. Here it is half set up.

JULY 22 John's birthday closes a particularly hardworking week.
JOHN COOKING
On his 58th birthday after John took a relaxing day. There are few things John enjoys more than cooking as fun for friends so he prepared a solid feast for all the workers.
John / John the Sailor of Pembrokeshire is consort to Shan of House Morgain.

STEVE & HELEN
Steve having been introduced by the farseeing lady Kim via Cardiff CUPS, has been a determined returner to get work done. Lugging, scraping, painting, drinking, squiring his lady, laughing - Steve's the man. He has introduced both Sarah and Helen to House Morgain.

COLIN
Colin in his favourite corner, enjoying a well earned break. Colin of Swansea has rapidly become an honoured Elder of House Morgain, not only giving day after day after day of efficient, cheerful work, but also surrounding us all with his calm strength and gentleness. Not forgetting a slightly wicked wit!

KITCHEN July 8 we have a fully functioning kitchen! A few more shelves and a paint job and it's done. Door is into entrance hall, serving hatch to side into lounge. By the stove is the back door into a courtyard where the hot tub is awaiting assembly in boxes.

KITCHEN REFECTORY
Other end of the room. Already this looks better see pic above! But the two big oak tables, oak welsh dresser and the general warm feeling remains. The lady by the window is the lovely Tina who teaches belly dance.

BIG CONVERSATION AREA
Three big couches around a large oak table. More fixed couches round the walls. By moving one couch from centre to side this can be a big circle to seat around 20+ people. Door to rear is from entrance hall.

SMALL CONVERSATION AREA Small conversation area in the big Lounge
This could be useful when splitting a group or just for a friendly chat. Will have bay window with leaded lights looking on to garden, long green velvet curtains. The lounge is to be painted white to lighten it.

DINING AREA
A good planning meeting space or for a more formal meal than the kitchen refectory.

DANCE ROOM Dance Room for dancing and activities and discussions
A big bay window to look on the garden awaits installation. Pale blue full length velvet curtains. Wall mirror.

WORK CONTINUES Steve!

WORK BEGINS The walls of the main rooms all needed stripping down. Cardiff CUPS to the rescue!
